Nature of This Site

This is a private reference resource. It is not part of the Morgan County Sheriff, Eastern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility, WVDCR, the West Virginia courts serving Morgan County, or any other public body. The site does not keep official jail, release, inmate, or court records and cannot confirm custody, cause a release, or file a request or court paper for a visitor.

Its purpose is to help readers locate Morgan County and West Virginia custody resources, official records offices, public search portals, and outside research tools. West Virginia government records may be governed by the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act, Chapter 29B, and court access rules. Nothing on this site changes those laws or an agency's duties.

No Consumer Reports

Morgan County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. Its advertising partners do not provide those services through this site. You agree not to use information found here for:

• A decision to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker
• Housing or tenant screening
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance rates
• Licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Links Outside This Site

The site links to sheriff and corrections pages, release-record resources, government portals, legal resources, and third-party search services. A link does not mean we endorse or control the destination. We are not responsible for an outside site's content, privacy practices, data handling, terms, accuracy, or availability. Review that site's rules before using it.
